Originally developed for the US military, the PVS models have established themselves worldwide as the benchmark for quality, reliability, and ease of use. The wide 40-degree field of view and focusing from as close as 25 cm make this monocular night vision device one of the most versatile in its class. And while the standard optical magnification is 1x, we also offer optional lenses with 3x or 5x magnification for even greater detail.
The image quality of the PVS-14 is truly sublime, thanks to the Advanced Performance Gen 2+ image tube in Green Phosphor. These tubes, with an average FOM of 1800, deliver impressive brightness and sharpness, and suppress noise even under the most demanding conditions. This technology gives you a high-quality image without the constant use of infrared auxiliary light. For situations where IR light is needed, the night vision device features a built-in IR Illuminator.
The design of the PVS-14 makes it ideal for hands-free use. With the included headset, you can easily attach it to your head, keeping your hands free for other tasks. The headset features a convenient flip-up system that holds the night vision device securely in position when not in use. Because the tube amplifies ambient light, the device automatically switches off when there is too much light — making it suitable for use in darkness only. It cannot be used during the day. The PVS-14 is also available in White Phosphor and with a different image tube (NL1), and via additional accessories the device can even be mounted on a helmet.
The technical specifications are equally impressive: the night vision device meets the 810G military standard and is waterproof. Manual Gain and Auto Brightness Control ensure optimal image quality and energy efficiency. Even with all its advanced features, a single AA Battery provides up to 40 hours of use.
In addition, the AGM PVS-14 keeps you informed of your device's status via three LED indicators. You are alerted when IR is active, the Battery is nearly depleted, or there is too much ambient light. The adjustable dioptre offers extra comfort for individual adjustments between -6 and +4.
When purchasing the PVS-14, you receive not only the night vision device itself but also a comprehensive set of accessories: a soft carry case for easy storage, a head mount with added comfort thanks to the brow pad, a helmet/head mount adapter, a protective objective lens cover to guard against damage, an Eyepieces cap, a Battery, and a Lens cloth for maintenance.
