The PVS-14 from American manufacturer AGM Global Vision belongs to the top segment of image intensifiers, equipped with an Advanced Performance Gen2+ image tube in White Phosphor. Globally recognised for their unrivalled quality and reliability, the PVS night vision binoculars were originally developed for the US military. This night vision device stands out thanks to its ergonomic design and high-quality image performance.
The PVS-14 night vision device features a 26mm lens with a wide field of view of 40 degrees, focusing from as close as 25 cm. Standard optical magnification is 1x, with the option to extend this to 3x or 5x using optional lenses. This makes the device highly versatile for a wide range of applications, including airsoft, tactical training, and even professional hunting or wildlife observation.
Thanks to the advanced Advanced Performance Gen 2+ image tube, the PVS-14 delivers a bright and sharp image that comes close to Gen 3 level. The image tube has an average FOM (Figure of Merit) of 1800, which indicates the overall performance of the tube. This means that in many situations you won't need to activate an infrared illuminator, helping you remain less visible in tactical environments.
The night vision device is equipped with useful features such as Manual Gain, Auto Brightness Control, and a standby mode with bright light cut-off. These features ensure optimal performance under varying light conditions. In addition, three LED indicators within the field of view alert you to IR activation, low battery status, and excessive light levels, keeping you informed of the device's operational status at all times.
Thanks to its user-friendly design, including a supplied headset, the PVS-14 can easily be mounted to a helmet for hands-free use.
