The Artisan & Artist ACAM 322A camera strap in black/silver is made from silk braiding, cherished as a stylish accessory in traditional Japanese clothing. Artisan & Artist has applied the Ayatake-gumi braiding technique, which has been used since the Kamakura period primarily as part of omogai (a piece of equipment used on the mouth of a horse). One of the characteristics of Ayatake-gumi is that various patterns can be created depending on the combination of braided threads.

This beautiful gradient, transitioning from black to silver, displays stunning colour gradations. Artisans use natural dyes thanks to their expertise and experience, taking into account factors such as temperature and humidity during the dyeing process. The plain weave reduces strain on the neck. Furthermore, the fine weaving ensures the strap feels soft and offers greater wearing comfort.
