The B+W UV filter MRC BASIC is a high-quality UV filter that also offers protection for your lens. This UV filter can be applied permanently to your lens for protection against dirt and impact. Furthermore the filter blocks unwanted UV light and prevents a bluish or blurry haze on the photos.

The filter mount is made of brass and has a matte black finish that prevents reflection. It is also provided with a Multi Resistant Coating. It guarantees maximum reflection reduction and minimizes disturbing stray light. This allows brighter colours to be achieved and contrast to be increased. In addition, the MRC coating protects the filter against scratches, grease and dust. Because a 7-layer coating is applied on both sides of the filter, the hardness of the filter is increased. This makes the filter less sensitive to external influences and it lasts longer.
