The B+W UV filter MRC nano MASTER offers optimal protection for your lens. The UV filter can be permanently applied to the lens for protection against dirt and impact. Furthermore, the B+W UV filter MASTER blocks unwanted UV light and prevents a bluish or blurry haze on the photos. The UV filter is made of high-transmission glass, so the glass does not affect the clarity of your images. In addition, this filter is provided with an MRC Nano coating.

The filter mount is made of brass and has a matte black finish that prevents reflection. Besides that the MRC Nano coating prevents scratches and dirt, this coating also reduces stray light and reflections by up to 0.5%. The MRC Nano coating consists of seven layers on both sides of the glass, plus an extra layer of coating that provides a nanotechnology effect. This means that when a drop of water falls on the filter, it immediately forms a pearl and slides off the filter.The coating also increases the hardness of the filter, making it less sensitive to external influences, and therefore lasts longer.
