All Blackmagic 2110 IP converters support the NMOS interface specification, allowing all 2110 IP video devices to work together as one large virtual router. In addition, Videohub Smart Control can route sources to destinations on 2110 IP networks as it can act as an NMOS controller.

Blackmagic 2110 IP converters are designed to support the highest quality video. 10-bit is the most widely used television standard because it can display colours with four times the precision of 8-bit video. By using only 10-bit video, ensuring that all images are a perfect pixel-for-pixel transmission of the original SDI source, so users are always working at the highest possible quality.

Blackmagic 2110 IP converters have connections that support SD, HD and Ultra HD video standards. This means that existing SDI broadcast equipment can be connected to new IP-based infrastructure. In Ultra-HD, the converter supports all standards up to 2160p60. The converters automatically switch to a new video standard when the input changes.
