The Blackmagic Studio Converter is an ATEM converter, the perfect solution for live events thanks to the possibility of live camera connections. The optical fibre converter with talkback, tally, microphone inputs and a built-in long-life battery. Connect to cameras up to 45 miles away with inexpensive fibre optics and still get full bidirectional video, audio, talkback and tally signals.

Connect up to 4 ATEM camera converters to any ATEM studio converter and get talkback with multiple cameras. This makes it possible for all camera operators to communicate with the switcher operator, using talkback. The talkback is embedded in channels 15 and 16 of the optical fibre SDI connection.

The Studio Converter converts your camera's SDI or HDMI output to fibre optics, with built-in external audio and talkback from the camera position. It contains an internal battery with long service life. The rackmount design of ATEM Studio Converter has 4 bidirectional fibre connections. For example, you can connect multiple camera converters and convert fibre optic input to SDI and de-embedded audio with XLR connections.

Thanks to the high-quality SDI and HDMI inputs, it is possible to connect professional SDI and consumer HDMI cameras. It contains 1/4" stereo jack microphone/line inputs. This allows external commentary and effect sound to be transmitted from the camera position.
