With the Braun Bird Cam 130 Solar, you can take photos and videos of birds and other animals without disturbing them. A graceful greenfinch lands gently on the garden feeding station and starts pecking at sunflower seeds. The motion sensor immediately activates the camera, and videos and photos of the little bird are automatically recorded without disturbing it while it eats — a completely natural process with the "Bird Cam 130 Solar" feeding station from Braun Photo Technik.
With the Bird Cam 130 Solar, Braun presents an innovative bird feeder with a camera featuring automatic motion detection and an integrated microphone. Equipped with a highly sensitive PIR sensor with a detection angle of 100°, the Bird Cam 130 Solar detects every movement within a radius of three metres and automatically takes photos or videos in the immediate vicinity of birds or squirrels. The camera captures 12-megapixel photos and 1080p full HD videos (up to a maximum of 3 minutes) of every visitor that stops by for a bite to eat. When a bird, squirrel, or other animal moves in front of the lens, the camera begins capturing a close-up in just 0.8 seconds. You can set in advance whether you want photos, videos, or both. Recordings can be reviewed at any time via the 1.44" display on the integrated camera.
In addition, the Bird Cam 130 Solar bird feeder is popular with birds as a reliable food source and a welcome drinking spot, thanks to its natural, friendly shape and discreet green camouflage colour. A fat ball can also be attached to the roof using the roof hanging fixture, and a nectar container for hummingbirds is also included. The Bird Cam 130 Solar is of course weatherproof to IP65 and designed for outdoor use. It can easily be attached to a tree, shrub, or similar — ideal for use in the garden. All mounting brackets are included in the box.
In addition to the integrated 1,200 mAh battery, the Bird Cam 130 Solar features a dual solar panel on the roof that continuously supplies power when the sun is shining. Should the sun not shine sufficiently for an extended period, the Bird Cam 130 Solar's battery can easily be charged using the included USB cable.
Data transfer is equally straightforward: simply connect the Bird Cam 130 Solar to your computer using the included USB cable. The camera is recognised by the computer as a mass storage device. The Bird Cam 130 Solar stores photos and video recordings on a micro SD card of up to 32 GB (not included).
