The Braun Scouting Cam Black800 5K Wildlife Camera delivers sharp images for hunting area surveillance in 5K resolution and enables slow-motion recording.
Wildlife cameras offer gamekeepers and hunters not only valuable information about their hunting grounds. Scouting cameras also help landowners protect their properties against theft, vandalism, or fly-tipping. Whether it's roaming wildlife or a prowling intruder, the videos and photos captured by the Braun Photo Technik Scouting Cam Black800 5K can record every event in 5K resolution. Recordings can be stored on a MicroSD card of up to 512 GB. The wildlife camera also features a USB-C port for connecting to a PC or TV.
The exact resolution of photos and videos can be set via the integrated 2.0" TFT colour display, along with a wide range of other parameters. Recordings can also be easily viewed and reviewed directly on the colour display. Video resolution can range from 5K or 4K, 2.7K, and 1080p at 30 fps to 1080p at 120 fps, enabling slow-motion recording.
Users can also individually select the image resolution between 48 and 5 MP. The Braun Scouting Cam Black800 5K features three different PIR motion sensor sensitivity levels with a detection angle of 90 degrees, a trigger distance of up to 20 metres, and a trigger time of approximately 0.6 seconds.
The Black800 5K also includes an integrated microphone, a speaker, password protection, a time-lapse mode, and a display of date, time, moon phase, and temperature. Thanks to the continuous recording function, the camera can keep recording even when the memory card is full by overwriting the oldest files. The continuous recording function can be disabled. Using the included fastening strap or the practical mounting bracket supplied in the box, the robust and splash-proof (IP66) wildlife camera can be easily mounted in the desired location.
Operating temperatures range from -20 °C to +60 °C. Standby time is approximately twelve months. The camera is powered by six AA batteries or optionally via a 9V 1A mains adapter.
