The Lav Concealer for the RØDE Lavalier is a soft, flexible holder that can be attached in a variety of ways and adapts to the surface it's applied to. The soft rubber also acts as a shock-absorbing mount, protecting the microphone capsule from vibrations and absorbing handling noise, so you get cleaner audio recordings. This Lav Concealer is a RØDE lav mount that fits perfectly around the capsule, making it easier not only to hide the microphone but also to protect it from adhesive residue that can build up from repeatedly applying tape directly to the mic. The Lav Concealer for RØDE can be attached directly to skin or clothing using Lav Concealer Tape. The LC Tape is super strong, hypoallergenic, and easy to apply, so you can attach it to fabric or skin without any worries. The natural rubber used in the production of the Lav Concealer is biodegradable. In terms of clarity, using soft, pliable rubber means it absorbs more vibrations than harder materials (e.g. plastic), ensuring unwanted noise never reaches the capsule. The Lav Concealer for RØDE Lav comes with a fabric cover and a clothing clip made from resilient metal. These attach to the concealer via small holes on the front and back. By combining two different materials, friction or vibrations from one material are prevented from transferring to the other and ultimately reaching the capsule. The fabric cover and clothing clip are removable and can be attached to either the front or back of the lav concealer to lift the fabric away from the entire concealer and quickly clip it to clothing seams.
