The Canon DM-E1 Stereo Microphone has a shotgun design and produces high-quality film sound. The microphone is easy to attach to the flash shoe and connect to the 3.5 mm microphone input of a wide range of compatible EOS cameras. The microphone has a recording range of 50 Hz to 16 kHz and a sensitivity of -42 dB. This allows you to record both the high and low frequencies of, for example, a musical performance with crystal clarity.

Thanks to its compact and lightweight design, you can easily take the microphone with you wherever you go. Together with the camera and lens, the microphone forms a handy recording device that allows you to make long recordings from the hand. A shock-resistant mount absorbs vibrations when using the camera or lens, and a supplied windscreen reduces wind noise. An S/N (signal-to-noise) ratio of 66 dB S/N also ensures less background noise. The DM-E1 Stereo Microphone operates on a single CR2032 button battery.
