The optical construction of the lens is designed to deliver the highest image quality and contains two UD (ultra-low Dispersion) elements to minimize chromatic aberration and to eliminate color cast. Super Spectra Coatings reduce flare and ghosting, while fluorine coatings on the front and rear elements prevent dust and water droplets can attach itself to an element. The outside of the Canon EF 16-35 mm F4 L IS USM provides in addition to professional performance also an exceptionally high ease of operation.
