Cokin Nuances Extreme Soft Kit Z Series

The Cokin Nuances Extreme Smart Kit Z series contains three filters designed for use with a Cokin Z-Pro Series filter holder. They can be used individually or in various combinations to enhance the results of your landscape photography. Included is a solid neutral density filter that can be used to darken the entire image, a soft-edge gradient with neutral density filter, which prevents overexposure in specific areas of an image, such as a clear sky, while allowing normal, unaffected exposure in other areas of the image, and a reverse-scaled neutral density soft-edge filter that can be used to darken bright skies, particularly during a sunrise or sunset, while allowing normal, unaffected lighting in other parts of the image.

Cokin Nuances Extreme filters are made of toughened, shock-resistant glass and feature nano-metal alloy film coatings on both sides of the filter surface to attenuate infrared light while preserving true colour rendering, even when stacked with other Cokin Nuances or Nuances Extreme filters. Anti-glare coatings further help reduce surface reflections for increased contrast and clarity, while additional hydrophobic coatings result in an enhanced beading effect on contact with water for greater cleaning efficiency. In addition, Cokin Nuances Extreme filters have C-shaped edges. This rounded edge shape resists chipping to further improve durability.

A microfibre cloth is included for cleaning and maintenance of the filters.

3.0 neutral density filter darkens the image, allowing you to shoot with a slower shutter speed or wider aperture than normally required

This filter lets you reduce exposure by 10 stops, allowing you to control depth of field and transfer movements more easily

Filter does not affect the colour of the image and is ideal for use with other filters

Tempered, shock-resistant glass construction maintains high optical clarity with low reflectivity

A nano-metal alloy applied to both sides of the filter attenuates infrared light and provides neutral colouring, even when stacked with other Cokin NUANCES or NUANCES Extreme filters

Anti-glare coatings help reduce surface reflections for increased contrast and colour fastness

Hydrophobic coatings result in an enhanced beading effect on contact with water for greater cleaning efficiency

C-shaped edges resist chipping to further improve durability

In combination with a Cokin Z-Pro series filter holder, the included gasket helps prevent light from entering between the filter and the lens behind it, which can have an undesired effect on exposure
