The Comica CVM-VM40 Wireless Shotgun Microphone Dual Channel + 32GB onboard rec. innovatively integrates a wireless RF module to support wireless transmission and single/dual channel options, offering a more flexible solution for professional recordings. The gold-plated 14 mm microphone capsule uses a supercardioid polar pattern to accurately capture the original sound and avoid ambient noise, resulting in a fuller, clearer and crisper hi-fi audio quality.

The advanced 48 kHz/32-bit float recording delivers extremely high audio quality and dynamic range, supporting lossless audio adjustment in post-production. This meets the demands of high-sensitivity audio production, such as music production, film dubbing, professional interviews and broadcasting. Wired and wireless transmissions are simultaneously available to support output to multiple devices.

The built-in 32 GB storage capacity can store up to 40 hours of uncompressed audio. Users can back up audio whilst filming and recording, or use the microphone as a recorder. This guarantees audio integrity, making the creative process more secure.

The official Comica Audio app has iOS and Android versions that can connect to the VM40 via Bluetooth on a smartphone. CalMix denoise accurately reduces background noise and improves audio quality. The low-cut function filters audio below 100 Hz in the microphone signal to reduce low-frequency noise. The high-frequency boost enhances the high-frequency portion of the microphone signal to make the sound clearer and more defined.

Both the shotgun microphone and the receiver support a USB-C digital output and a 3.5 mm TRS/TRRS analogue output, which is broadly compatible with cameras, smartphones, computers, and more.
