Datacolor Spyder Shelf

The Datacolor Spyder Shelf can be easily attached to the monitor of your computer. You can use the Spyder Shelf with the SpyderX Pro and SpyderX Elite display calibration tools. The SpyderX Pro and SpyderX Elite, as well as the older Spyder5PRO and Spyder5ELITE, have a room light measurement feature. This function is used to measure the room light before calibration, and then suggest an appropriate monitor brightness and white point.

The SpyderX Pro and SpyderX Elite, as well as the older Spyder5PRO Plus and the Spyder5ELITE Plus, have a feature called Room Light Switching. The Spyder sensor can be placed flat on the surface of the Spyder shelf to monitor room lighting, allowing the Spyder Utility to use the profile that best matches the room lighting. Placing the sensor above the monitor avoids any unintended influence of light on the monitor.
