DJI Ronin-M
The DJI Ronin-M has all the features of the original Ronin, but has been redesigned for more functionality and is a fraction of the size and weight. The Ronin-M gives you the power of a professional setup with unmatched flexibility. The DJI Ronin-M weighs only half as much as the original Ronin, just 2.3kg! On top of that, the Ronin-M has been made smaller, small enough to fit in your backpack and take anywhere. Even so, despite its light weight, it is strong enough to carry a camera of up to 3.6kg!
The improved ATS technology is more precise than ever. It complements the process of balancing and tuning without any extra tools, so you can get started quickly and easily. Shoot even when you have almost no space. The top handle bars are easy to unscrew to minimise the size. Your Ronin-M can withstand intensive use thanks to its strong and rigid magnesium frame. This frame offers increased stiffness and lower weight.
SmoothTrack technology translates all movements into smooth camera movements. Your camera moves straight in the right direction, fully stabilised. It doesn't matter how or in which direction you move. SmoothTrack settings such as speed, peak limiting and acceleration are fully adjustable, and Single Axis Follow Mode lets you lock two axes while SmoothTrack guides your camera along one axis of movement.
With this Ronin-M, you can capture shots that are impossible with any other setup. You can switch effortlessly between three operating modes without having to adjust the settings. Underslung mode lets you film comfortably with the Ronin-M at chest height. Upright mode lets you film at eye level or above your head. Perfect for use in a crowd or through the roof of a car. Finally, there is Briefcase mode, which is handy for narrow spaces. Turn the gimbal vertically and hold it close to your legs like a briefcase, so you can film in tight spaces such as doorways.
The brushless motors of the Ronin-M are incredibly accurate and powerful, while producing little vibration and offering increased torque. Accuracy is boosted by Digital Absolute Positioning Encoders in every axis, and a wide range on the tilt and roll axes. You can tilt 105 degrees up and 165 degrees down, and roll 110 degrees. When you film in cramped spaces, the Ronin-M is equipped with a Silent Mode to minimise the sound of the motors. This ensures that audio recorded with sensitive microphones is not disturbed by unwanted background noise.
