The Flir Scout III 640 Thermal Imaging Camera is the next generation of FLIR's tried-and-tested compact thermal cameras for outdoor recreation. With a 640 x 480 sensor, a smooth 30Hz frame rate and a 640 x 480 pixel LCD screen, the Scout III 640 has a better scene contrast than I2 night vision. Scout III shows the heat radiated by animals, people and terrain - during the day and at night - and has multiple applications for legal hunting, camping, land management and outdoor recreation.

The Scout III 640 detects heat signs from people, animals and terrain up to a distance of 1140 meters. The Scout III 640 starts up in seconds and requires no training to work with it. The robust, weatherproof (IP67) housing of the Scout III 640 weighs only 340 grams, but can withstand impacts and shallow water.

The Scout III series produces thermal images. This allows you to clearly see without visible light. People, animals and objects all generate heat and become clearly visible with the Scout III-series camera, even in the most unfavorable conditions. The Scout III series camera makes it possible to:
