The Pixel Shift Multi Shot option combines multiple RAW images for shots with ultra-high resolution and highly accurate colour reproduction, ideal for commercial product photography.
Video recordings also have stunning resolution and sharpness. With the X-T5, you create videos with 6.2K resolution at 30fps in 4:2:2 10-bit colour depth. The 4K HQ mode uses 6.2K oversampling to guarantee high image quality. F-LOG2 support means a large dynamic range of no less than 13+ stops.
Thanks to deep learning technology, the autofocus system recognises different types of subjects, such as animals and vehicles. The renewed image sensor has a larger number of phase-detection pixels compared to its predecessor, allowing you to focus even more accurately. The mirrorless camera is also equipped with an AI-based automatic white balance option, so you can enjoy detailed colour accuracy in every lighting situation. Internal image stabilisation reduces vibrations across five different axes by no less than seven stops, perfect for street photographers and in poor lighting.
As expected from the X-T series, the camera has a centralised electronic viewfinder and is equipped with all the familiar Fujifilm control buttons. The LCD screen can be tilted in three different directions, ideal for shooting from the hip or in vertical orientation. The Fujifilm XF 16-50mm f/2.8-4.8 R LM WR is a standard zoom lens with a focal length of 16 to 50 millimetres and a 24 to 76 millimetre equivalent. Thanks to the medium telephoto range, the lens is highly versatile and can be used for all kinds of photography. The wide-angle lets you capture expansive landscapes and architecture, while the zoom range also makes the lens ideal for travel and portrait photography.
The lens is specially designed for cameras with a high resolution and offers exceptional optical performance across the entire zoom range. This allows you to combine the lens effortlessly with the 40.2 million pixel X-Trans CMOS 5 HR sensor. By using 3 aspherical and 3 ED glass elements, chromatic aberration is reduced and you shoot bright, contrast-rich images across the entire zoom range. The lens has a minimum focusing distance of just 24 centimetres, allowing you to get fairly close to your subject. In addition, the Fujifilm XF 16-50mm has a unique magnification factor with 0.3x magnification, allowing you to capture the smallest details.
The Fujifilm XF 16-50mm f/2.8-4.8 weighs just 240 grams and is currently (May 2024) the lightest zoom lens in the Fujifilm XF series.
