Gitzo GT5543LS eXact Carbon Systematic L Series 5

The Gitzo GT5543LS eXact Carbon Systematic L Series 5 is a high capacity carbon fiber tripod that represents the ultimate goals of the Systematic lineup: minimal weight, extreme durability, and uncompromising stability.

You can extend the tripod to a maximum height of 156 cm. The minimum height is 10 cm and the weight capacity is 40 kg. This makes it ideal for professional photographers who use long lenses and heavy cameras. The 5 Series lineup is divided on basis of the number of sections and its length. You can choose as desired between Standard (S), Long (L) and Extra Long (XL).

The patented eXact 6X carbon fiber tubing offer maximum rigidity while the weight is kept to an absolute minimum. Given the impressive weight capacity of 40 kg the own weight of only 2.8 kg can be described as ideal. With its folded length of only 60 cm it is practical and easy to carry along.

The maximum rigidity is further ensured by Gitzos G-Lock Ultra Twist Locks. These ensure stable, robust connections between the different sections. In addition, the penetration of dirt, dust and moisture is prevented.

The tripod legs are fitted with pivoting rubber feet. These form a stable and versatile basis for setting the tripod on the most different surfaces. If desired, it is possible to replace the feet with metal spikes for more stability in sand, dirt, mud, snow and/or ice.

The base of the tripod also has an Easy Link attachment thread. This makes it possible to attach equipment quickly and easily.
