The Godox Witstro AD800Pro is an 800 Ws battery-powered monolight designed for location professionals. It delivers reliable key light output even in direct sunlight, has a short recycle time and long battery life, and offers versatile wireless control plus TTL compatibility with all major camera systems. Together, these features provide powerful, dependable performance for professionals in any environment.

With 800 Ws of power, the AD800Pro delivers decisive key light performance that overpowers bright sunlight. It delivers up to 300 flashes at full power per charge and has a fast recycle time of 0.01–1.5 s, keeping pace with demanding location shoots.

Power is adjustable across a 10-stop range (1/512–1/1) in 0.1-stop increments, enabling extremely precise exposure control. This level of precision makes the AD800Pro ideal for product and still life photography, layered multi-light setups, and any situation requiring subtle placement of highlights and shadows.

The AD800Pro features professional modes including Freeze, Stable Colour Temperature, HSS, Multi, and more, allowing photographers to reliably handle fast action, products, and colour-critical work.

Freeze mode: ultra-short flash duration of up to 1/35,710 s (t0.1) for razor-sharp shots of splashes, jumps, and other fast-moving subjects.

Stable Colour Temperature mode: minimises colour shift when changing power levels (typical shift < 100 K), ensuring consistent colour across the entire output range.

It supports HSS (up to 1/8000 s), multi-flash, and first and second curtain sync — covering everything from bright outdoor portraits to light trails and creative strobe effects.

The AD800Pro is built around Godox's 2.4 GHz X wireless system, offering robust long-range wireless control, including one-button pairing with the X3Pro/X3 and full compatibility with other X-series transmitters. It also supports wired sync via a 3.5 mm PC port and external 433 MHz receivers via USB-C, giving photographers multiple reliable triggering options for both location and remote shoots.

To keep shooting without compromise, the AD800Pro supports multiple power options. The optional AC26 adapter enables direct mains power for continuous operation, while the optional UC-46 fast charger reduces battery charging time to approximately 1.5 hours.

The native Bowens Mount is compatible with a wide range of light-shaping accessories (softboxes, beauty dishes, grids, snoots, etc.), giving photographers immediate access to an extensive professional modifier system.
