The film can be used for any photographic subject, with results depending on ambient lighting, colour palette and exposure accuracy. Best results are usually achieved in situations with consistent exposure and medium brightness. The Harman Phoenix's high contrast can lead to powerful, vivid rendering of scenes even in lower lighting conditions.

You easily develop the film in C41/CN16 development chemicals and expose the film between EI 100 - 400, but the best results are achieved at EI 200.
