Hollyland Pyro Ultra Transmitter

The Hollyland Pyro Ultra Transmitter is the transmitter unit of the Pyro Ultra system. It captures the video signal from your camera and sends it wirelessly to one or more receivers. The transmitter uses Hollyland's TWiFi technology, which combines two frequency bands (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) into a single stable connection with a range of up to 1.5 km in open space. In busy environments, the transmitter automatically switches between frequencies to prevent signal dropout. The Pyro Ultra is also DFS-certified, meaning it can make use of additional frequency space that is normally reserved.

With Focus Mode, latency drops to just 20 ms. This makes the transmitter particularly well suited for focus pulling, where you need to track the focus point in real time. The transmitter features both an HDMI and an SDI input, as well as an HDMI loop-out, allowing you to monitor the image locally on a display. You can also stream directly to a computer via USB-C, or to an online platform via RTMP.

Currently using a Pyro H or Pyro S? The Pyro Ultra represents a significant step forward. Whereas the Pyro H and Pyro S offer a range of 400 metres and support a maximum of two receivers, the Pyro Ultra reaches up to 1.5 km and connects an unlimited number of receivers in Broadcast Mode. The Ultra also adds both HDMI and SDI, 4K60 transmission, and Focus Mode — features that are absent from the Pyro H and Pyro S.

The Hollyland Pyro Ultra Receiver is the receiver unit of the Pyro Ultra system. It receives the wireless video signal from the transmitter and outputs it to a connected monitor or display. Thanks to Hollyland's TWiFi technology, you receive a stable signal across two frequency bands (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz). In Broadcast Mode, you can pair an unlimited number of receivers with a single transmitter. With Focus Mode, latency drops to 20 ms — ideal for focus pulling. The receiver automatically adjusts the output resolution to match your display and offers both an HDMI and an SDI output. Via USB-C, you can stream directly to a computer or to an online platform via RTMP.
