The HoverAir X1 ProMAX is a pocket-sized self-flying camera for advanced users and creators who want cinematic image quality without the complexity of a traditional drone. At just 192 grams, it stays below the 249 gram threshold, so no drone license is required.
At the heart of the X1 ProMAX is a 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensor with 14 stops of dynamic range, a 7-layer 107° lens with f/2.55 and a Snapdragon processor. You can record video in 8K30 or 4K120 for slow motion. Photos are captured at 48 megapixels with RAW DNG output. SmoothCapture 2.0 uses a two-axis gimbal with EIS and horizon levelling to deliver stable footage, even while moving quickly. The drone has 64GB of internal storage and supports SD cards up to 1TB.
With more than 15 automated flight modes such as Hover, Zoom Out, Bird's Eye, Orbit, Dolly Track, Cycling and Skiing mode, you can capture cinematic footage without manual control. The X1 ProMAX follows you at speeds up to 42 km/h and can keep up in short bursts up to 60 km/h. OmniTerrain sensor fusion ensures reliable positioning on any terrain, from water to snow and cliffs. Active rear collision detection works via a ToF sensor and a visual sensor, making the X1 ProMAX safer than the Pro. Maximum flight time per battery is 16 minutes. The drone flies up to an altitude of 5500 metres and resists winds up to level 5, 10.7 m/s.
