Each sachet contains the right amount of photographic chemicals to develop 2 rolls of 35mm (135) film or 1 roll of 120 film when using a 600 ml developing tank for 2 rolls, at a dilution of 1:9.

The sachet contains the popular Ilford Ilfosol 3. This film developer is formulated to bring out the full potential of conventional black-and-white film emulsions, delivering fine grain and optimum sharpness, and is suitable for both beginners and advanced users.

Ilford Simplicity Film Developer is available as a single sachet, in multipacks of 5 sachets (this product), or as part of a starter kit with 1x film developer, 1x stop bath, 1x fixer, and 1x wetting agent.

Instructions for use

Pour the entire contents of the developer, stop bath, and fixer sachets into separate measuring jugs, dilute each sachet to 600 ml with water at the correct temperature, stir thoroughly until fully mixed, and then use as part of the normal develop, stop, fix, and rinse procedure. At the end of the rinse procedure, add 2 caps of wetting agent to the tank and invert the film five times before removing it.
