The Insta360 X6 is the new flagship among 360 cameras and takes both image quality and versatility to the next level. With two large 1/1.1" sensors, you capture everything around you at once, so you never miss a moment again and decide afterwards which image you want to crop. Whether you are skiing, mountain biking, diving or travelling: you no longer aim the camera, you simply capture your entire surroundings and choose the perfect perspective later in the Insta360 app or Studio.
At the heart of the X6 are two 1/1.1" sensors, larger than those of the previous generation. This means you capture more detail and the camera performs noticeably better in low light. You film 360° video in 8K at an impressive 50 fps, making fast action such as cycling and winter sports remarkably smooth and sharp. Prefer a flat video? Then you can record up to 5K at 60 fps or 4K at 120 fps. For photos, you shoot 360° images up to 120 megapixels and flat photos up to 42 megapixels.
The X6 is built for creators who want to get the most out of their image. Thanks to the Rec.709, Dolby Vision and I-Log colour profiles and a bitrate of up to 240 Mbps in H.265, you retain full flexibility in post-production. The f/2.0 aperture, ISO range from 100 to 6400 and shutter speeds from 1/8000 to 120 seconds give you complete creative freedom, from bright daylight shots to long exposures at night. PureVideo night mode also ensures cleaner and brighter images in dark conditions.
With Bullet Time mode in 4K at 240 fps, you can effortlessly create impressive cinematic slow motion. The body itself is waterproof down to 20 metres, allowing you to take the camera with you during water sports or in the rain without an additional housing. Even in extreme temperatures, the X6 will not let you down: it works reliably from -20 °C to 40 °C. Tip: when filming in 8K, the body becomes slightly warmer due to the high processing power. This is normal. Set the automatic screen sleep mode to a shorter time to save energy and extend battery life.
Thanks to the built-in 64 GB memory, of which 47 GB is freely available, you can start filming straight away without needing a memory card. Need more storage? Insert a microSD card that meets the UHS-I standard with speed class V30 or higher, formatted as exFAT. Do not use UHS-II or UHS-III cards or cards larger than 1 TB, as incompatibility may interrupt recording. The replaceable 2600 mAh battery lasts up to 140 minutes when recording in 8K30 and, thanks to 30W PPS fast charging, charges back to 80% in just 24 minutes.
The 2.32" OLED touchscreen is operated intuitively with taps and swipes. Thanks to NFC, you connect the camera to the Insta360 app with a single tap, after which you transfer recordings at high speed via Wi-Fi 6 or USB-C 3.0. AI Director automatically recognises and marks the highlights in your recordings, so you can create a shareable video in no time. This means you spend less time editing and more time capturing your adventures.
