Particularly useful in macrophotography, when using large telephoto lenses or at slow shutter speeds, a cable release ensures shake-free shooting. Two-step shutter release: The first pressure point activates TTL metering and autofocus, the second activates the shutter. For bulb shooting, the button can be locked (colour indicator).
