The Laowa 12mm t/2.9 ZERO-D is a beautiful wide-angle cine lens for the Canon EF mount. Despite the wide viewing angle of 122 degrees, the lens has virtually no distortion, making it ideal for your high-quality film productions. You can easily take the lens with you wherever you go thanks to its compact design. It measures 87mm in length and weighs only 675 grams.

Where most wide-angle lenses give at least 2 to 4% distortion, the Laowa has virtually no distortion. That's why ‘ZERO-D’: Zero distortion. In addition, it allows you to focus very close. From about 18 cm (from the sensor) you have your subjects in focus. With the t-stop of 2.9 you create unique images with beautiful bokeh.

Thanks to the 0.8 mod gears on both the aperture and focus rings, you can use a follow focus system with this lens. The focus ring rotates 270 degrees for ultra-smooth focus adjustments.

The 12mm lens comes with a 114mm step-ring so you can use a matte box. This way you keep out unwanted sun rays and lens flares. Even with a matte box installed, your videos will be free of vignetting.
