The Miops Splash V2 Water Drop Kit + S2 Cable is the new water drop kit, complete with holder, that lets you capture stunning water drop photos. The Splash controls the water supply, camera, and external flash, so you're guaranteed to get the perfect water drop shot. With an improved housing, more reliable connections, and a slightly updated look, the Splash V2 is a step up from the first-generation Miops Splash.
You can use the water drop kit with virtually any camera — all you need is a connection cable. This version of the Miops Splash V2 comes with a Sony S2 cable included as standard.
The system is easy to control via your smartphone using the free app (available for both iPhone and Android). Through the app, you can set the size of the water drop(s), for example, or specify exactly when the flash and camera should be triggered.
This water drop kit includes a flexible rod and an extendable holder. With these accessories, you can position the Miops Splash above a bowl of water, for instance, so the drops fall into it. The arm can be locked in any position using the rotary knob on the side. Both the rod and the holder feature a 1/4" female thread, allowing you to mount them on virtually any standard (table) tripod. A hot shoe adapter is also included, so you can attach the Miops Splash directly to your camera. Power is supplied via continuous USB power (USB cable included) — simply connect the Splash to a laptop, power bank, or any standard mains adapter.
