The Nikkor AF-S 200-500mm f/5.6 ED VR lens from Nikon is the latest ultra-telephoto zoom with unprecedented versatility. This lens has a very large range and is also packed with new lens technologies. Be amazed at the creative flexibility that you have with a focal length of 200-500mm and a constant aperture of f/5.6. Ideal for photographing wild animals, planes, birds or fast sports.

This lens offers exceptional range, but an always consistent speed and smooth control over the depth of field over the entire zoom range. The optical construction consists of 19 elements in 12 groups. Chromatic aberration is reduced to a minimum thanks to three extra-low dispersion glass elements. The appearance of camera shake is also a thing of the past thanks to VR (Vibration Reduction). This impressive system allows shooting at shutter speed stops by up to 4.5.
