The lens system features field-flattening optics, ensuring a crystal-clear image from centre to edge. Both optical barrels incorporate three ED glass elements, producing a high-contrast, high-resolution image. Chromatic aberration is corrected, allowing you to perceive even the subtle colour differences between stars right to the very edge of the field of view. All lenses are also equipped with a high-quality multi-layer coating, achieving high light transmission across the entire visible spectrum. This results in a more natural and brighter image. Comfort matters — especially during extended viewing sessions. The WX series has therefore been designed to make use as comfortable as possible. The magnesium alloy construction provides a robust yet lightweight body, while the twist-and-slide rubber eyecups ensure a pleasant viewing experience. The eyecups can also be clicked into six different positions, so you can set the correct eye relief and immediately enjoy stargazing at a whole new level.
