The NiSi ND basic kit 100mm is a kit that consists of two 100 x 100mm IR ND filters. ND filters, also known as neutral density filters, are perfect for reducing the amount of light entering the lens.

NiSi ND Base Kit 100mm

The NiSi ND Base Kit 100mm is a kit consisting of two 100 x 100mm IR ND filters. ND filters, also known as neutral density filters, are perfect for reducing the amount of light entering the lens. The ND filters also make it possible to achieve a shallower depth of field or more motion blur. This is because a wider aperture or longer shutter speed can be used.

This kit contains two ND filters: the ND8 and ND64. The IR ND8 is a 3-stop ND filter and is often used for photographing flowing water with shutter speeds of 1/2 to 2 seconds. The IR ND64 is a 6-stop ND filter and is often used to photograph smooth water or clouds.
