Olympus FL-700WR Flash

The Olympus FL-700WR is a reporter flash designed for Olympus cameras. The flash has a guide number of 42 at ISO 100, a weather-resistant housing, and is compatible with the Olympus TTL system. Combined with the built-in TruePic image processor and TTL sync technology, you get optimal exposure during your photo shoots. When used with the OM-D E-M1X or the E-M1 Mark II, you can shoot burst sequences of 50 frames at a speed of 10 fps at 1/16 power.

The Olympus FL-700WR flash features everything you'd expect from a professional flash. Super FP flash sync, slow sync, and first and second curtain sync are all supported and work seamlessly with the camera's functions. The flash can be controlled wirelessly from a distance of up to 30 metres and can also be used as a slave unit.

The flash head can be rotated 360° horizontally and tilted 90°, allowing you to shoot from a variety of angles and distances. The flash also offers a wide zoom range of 12 to 75 millimetres, which can even be extended to 7 millimetres using the built-in wide-angle panel. This means you can fine-tune the exposure to suit your lens and composition. In low-light conditions or challenging lighting situations, you can take advantage of the built-in LED light.

As mentioned, the FL-700WR features a weather-resistant housing (IPX1 certified). This makes the flash dust-, splash-, and frost-resistant (down to -10 °C), so you can use it without any issues during all your outdoor activities.
