The Olympus STF-8 is the world's first macro flash with dust-, splash- and frost-resistant construction in a lightweight design. Combined with weatherproof OM-D cameras and lenses, this flash is the versatile solution for all shooting conditions, such as rain or dew.

Adjustable as desired

The Olympus STF-8 Macro Flash is equipped with a double flash and therefore very useful for macro photography. The entire construction is dust, splash and frost resistant and can be described as quite user friendly. The design with two flash heads offers many opportunities for close-up exposure of the object. The Olympus STF-8 comes with two adapters to attach certain Olympus lenses. The Macro flash uses four AA batteries.

The flash heads are adjustable at an angle of -60 to +40 degrees, and the flash power is adjustable. As a result, the contrast in the scene and the direction of the light, are completely adjustable as desired. The flash provides full TTL support for Olympus cameras. The flash heads together have a guide number of 8.5 at ISO 100. If, you are using a single flash it reaches a guide number of 6.

Advanced settings

The advanced STF-8 is equipped with numerous features and settings that make shooting easier. The STF-8 is often used as a wireless Master TTL Flash. As a result, it is possible to control a maximum of four groups of off-camera flashes. The flash also supports focus stacking and bracketing functions on certain OM-D cameras such as the E-M1 Mark II and E-M5 Mark II system cameras.
