Panasonic Lumix S 24mm F1.8

The Panasonic Lumix S 24mm F1.8 is a wide-angle lens with a fixed focal length and large aperture. This is the third addition to a lineup of L-mount system-based lenses with an aperture of F1.8.

The centre of gravity of these lenses is the same, making them easy to swap out with minimal adjustments to balance when the camera is mounted on a gimbal. The Lumix S 24mm F1.8 operates smoothly and quietly and works well with the camera's precise AF system with the sensor drive of up to 240 fps. Sensitivity can be set in 30-degree increments - between 90 and 360 degrees to enable conscious focus selection.

The compact size and low weight of approximately 310 grams make the Lumix S 24mm F1.8 particularly easy to carry and combine well with the Lumix S5, the smallest full-frame model in the S-series. The robust dust- and splash-proof design can withstand all weather conditions. The filter diameter is 67 mm and the 9 blades form a round diaphragm opening.
