PDMovie Remote Air Pro 3 - Remote + Master Motor
The PDMovie Remote Air Pro 3 - Remote + Master Motor is a Follow Focus system that includes one wireless receiver motor and a handwheel integrating focus, zoom, and iris control. To operate more than one channel, additional motors are required. The handwheel has a wireless range of 100 metres and supports 19 wireless channels, allowing you to find the cleanest signal path even when using multiple motors in a FIZ (focus, iris, zoom) setup. With an available iOS app, you can control the system with your iOS device from up to 10 metres away.
The included receiver motor features a built-in wireless antenna and a power connector. This motor is fitted with a cine-style drive gear with 0.8 MOD and can drive focus, iris, or zoom on a lens with cine-style gears. If you need to drive more than one lens ring, an additional motor is required — however, you can also use one without the wireless receiver, as motors can be daisy-chained together. The calibration procedure has been simplified, and you can calibrate lenses with or without hard stops. Built-in OLED displays on both the motor and the handwheel provide clear system status information.
The controller and receiver motor both feature a built-in Bluetooth module. An iPhone iOS app controls the lens, lens data, and sets automatic lens movements.
The controller features a large handwheel with a diameter of 75 mm for follow control, which is particularly effective when moving focus with your palm or when wearing gloves. With four 1/4" screw holes, the controller can easily be attached to the included handle or mounted on virtually any handle, monitor, or arm.
The handwheel includes a focus controller, a zoom knob, and an iris knob, allowing you to control up to three axes simultaneously with the appropriate number of motors. The focus controller features a built-in LED light and glow-in-the-dark marker discs, so you can see your custom markings even in low-light conditions.
