The Pentax HD-DA 16-50 mm f/2.8 ED PLM AW is a wide-angle zoom lens with a variable focal length between 16 and 50 millimetres. This zoom lens is part of Pentax's Star Series. The Pentax HD-DA 16-50 mm offers improved image performance compared to its predecessors. In addition, this lens has a PLM (Pulse Motor), providing the necessary power in autofocus operation. Thanks to the PLM, the autofocus works even faster and quieter. It is adjusted in such a way for more efficient manual focusing. This way you can enjoy the photography process even more!

Aberrations are reduced to a minimum, so you get a clear image with a natural bokeh effect. The multi-layer HD coating also ensures higher light transmission and high-contrast images. In addition, the coating minimises flare and ghosting, even in demanding lighting conditions, such as backlighting.

And there's more. The front lens is protected by SP coating and thanks to the All Weather (AW) design, dust and water cannot penetrate the lens. The 9 seals in this lens make it a weather-resistant design.
