The Portkeys LEYE III Electronic Viewfinder with HDMI is a compact EVF with an HDMI input that lets you view up to DCI 4K30 video coming from the camera's HDMI output. A 2.4" LCD screen with 1440 x 900 resolution, 450 cd/m² brightness and 1100:1 contrast ratio ensures sharp and vivid images that can be viewed in bright shooting conditions.

The LEYE III's diopter offers -3 to +8 adjustment parameters, and the software features numerous functions such as waveform, histogram, scaling, mirroring, guide lines, zooming and image flipping and cropping. Import 3D LUTs via the USB Type-A port with optional waveform to detect data before or after loading 3D LUT.

A passive heat sink vent provides adequate heat dissipation and improves overall performance. The robust metal housing gives the electronic viewfinder a sturdy feel, and mounting on a wide variety of rigs is made possible via the ARRI-style anti-twist mount, a NATO accessory rail or a 1/4"-20 thread. A lockable aviation-grade 4-pin power connector to D-Tap cable is included for powering the EVF, and an integrated Canon LP-E6 plate allows you to use power with a separately available battery. Also included is an HDMI hook-up adapter, a USB flash drive for updating firmware and a soft, flat eye sponge for the viewfinder so you can view while wearing glasses.
