The Portkeys LEYE-SDI Electronic Viewfinder with SDI extends the capabilities of the previous model by adding a 3G-SDI input and an integrated LP-E6 battery plate to the interface. The 3G-SDI input supports up to 1080p video, while the HDMI input supports up to UHD 4K. This viewfinder features a 2.4-inch LCD screen with 1440 x 900 resolution, 450 cd/m² brightness and 1100:1 contrast, allowing images to be viewed clearly in bright conditions. A round sponge eye mask further ensures visibility by preventing direct sunlight from burning the LCD.

Several mounting options are integrated into the viewfinder for attachment to your camera-rig configuration: a rosette, three 1/4"-20 screw threads and a NATO rail. Various video assist functions can be enabled to check the quality of the image, and a diopter range of -3 to +8 lets you adjust the focus to suit your vision. If not equipped with an LP-E6-compatible battery or power bank, the device can also be powered via the self-latching 4-pin aviation connector input. You can upload custom 3D LUTs of your choice to the viewfinder or upgrade the firmware using the USB Type-A input.
