The Rycote Super-Blimp Kit NTG is a complete shock-mounting and windshield system for Rode NTG series. This allows you to record sound without shocks, vibration and wind noise and also provides acoustic transparency. The kit is also ideal to use with shotgun microphones of up to 280mm with a diameter between 19 and 25 mm.

The solution against wind noise

The Rycote Super-Blimp Kit NTG ensures a light and robust solution to minimize wind noise. The windshield also acts as a shock-mount. As a result, vibrations that are caused by the contact with the tripod are eliminated. The basket where the microphone is placed in, is provided with synthetic fur. This provides a maximum protection against the wind.

Through the 3/8 inch threaded connection, you can mount the blimp quickly and easily on your microphone stand. The blimp is in addition provided with a holder for XLR connection. This connection consists of gilded pins which guarantee an optimum connection and conduction.
