The Samyang 14mm f/2.8 AF Canon EF is a wide-angle lens that allows automatic and manual focusing. Focusing is silent, fast and very accurate making this lens ideal for professional photographers and videographers.

High-quality optics

The Samyang 14mm F2.8 AF Canon lens is the first autofocus Samyang wide-angle lens for Canon SLR cameras. The Samyang 14mm is designed for full-frame cameras, but can also be used in cameras with an APS-C format. This wide-angle lens is lightweight and weather resistant and ideal for both landscape and sports photography. The compact lens fits easily into the camera housing. The closest focusing distance of the lens is only 20 cm. The Samyang Focusing Engine is fast, quiet and accurate. If you want to set the focus manually, move the lens on the lens frame to manual mode. The lens also has an electronically controlled dimmer.

The lens consists of 15 elements in 10 groups. Two elements are used to correct distortion and there are 4 HR (High Refractive) elements and 1 ED (Extra Low Dispersion) element that reduce color distortion. Glass elements are provided with Ultra Multilayer Coating, which improves light transmission and contrast and reduces ghosting. The seven-bladed diaphragm produces a star-shaped Bokeh. The Samyang 14 mm lens is weather-resistant thanks to various sealing rings that prevent dust and moisture from entering the lens.
