The Samyang AF 35mm f1.8 P FE is a compact, lightweight prime lens designed for everyday photography with Sony FE full-frame cameras. With a versatile focal length of 35mm, a bright f1.8 aperture and a portable design weighing just 216 grams with a length of only 71,5mm, it's ideally suited to street photography, travel, portraits, video and everyday creative use.

The lens features an advanced optical construction with 10 elements in 8 groups, including 2 aspherical elements and 2 newly developed XHR elements. These Extra High Refractive elements are manufactured with higher precision than conventional high-refractive-index elements, enabling a more compact optical design with effective reduction of aberrations. The result is sharp resolution, improved optical performance and consistent image quality across the entire frame.

A rounded 9-blade aperture produces smooth, natural background blur, while the bright f1.8 aperture makes it easier to work in low light and isolate subjects with a pleasing, shallow depth of field. The lens also features UMC II coating, Samyang's latest coating technology, which suppresses reflections and ghosting more effectively and helps retain contrast and sharpness in demanding lighting conditions such as backlighting and night shots.

For fast, reliable focusing, the AF 35mm f1.8 P FE is equipped with a Linear STM II autofocus motor. This system delivers fast, precise and quiet autofocus performance, making the lens suitable for both photography and video, where smooth focus transitions are especially important.
