The Samyang 35mm T1.3 AS UMC CS is a standard lens with manual focus, designed for mirrorless cameras with an APS-C or MFT (MicroFourThirds) sensor. Let your creativity run wild and make high quality video recordings thanks to the universally usable angle of view with low distortion. The maximum aperture of T1.3 allows you to film even in very dark conditions.

The optical design makes use of Samyang's exceptional know-how, of course, the lens has 9 glass lens elements in 7 groups, including an extra low dispersion (ED) and two aspherical (ASP). This reduces unwanted light scattering to a minimum and delivers a high resolution from centre to corner. This lens is also provided with Samyang's Ultra Multi Coating (UMC), which optimizes light transmission and prevents flare and ghosting. The short minimum focus distance of this lens is only 38cm. If you use the full opening T1.3 it is possible to completely separate the main subject from the background, which is ideal for portraits, for example.

The 9 aperture blades are designed to create an almost round aperture opening to create a very beautiful bokeh. The housing is made of a very strong aluminium alloy and is therefore compact and sturdy. Due to the large filter size of 62 mm, a maximum amount of light enters the lens to make the best use of the available existing light.

The T markings on the lens allow you to deliver very precise video work. The focus ring has a serrated edge and can therefore be used as standard with follow focus systems. The diaphragm can be adjusted smoothly and quietly with the disengaged stepless aperture ring. For extra convenience when filming, the T numbers and distance scale are placed on both sides of the lens.
