The Samyang MF 85 mm F1.4 MK2 is a very bright lens that is ideal for taking portrait photos because of its beautiful bokeh. This lens guarantees the highest quality photos with vivid colour rendering and smooth background blur, beautifully separating the main subject from the background.

The Samyang MF 85 mm F1.4 MK2 is equipped with a de-clickable diaphragm that enables stepless fine-tuning between F-stops. By turning the silver ring on the lens from 'Click' to 'Free', you set the aperture smoothly and precisely, so you get just the right amount of light in your photo. This is ideal for filming, because no hiccups in the image are visible when adjusting the aperture. There are seals fitted around the bayonet connection to prevent the ingress of moisture and/or raindrops. This feature provides an extra layer of protection when shooting outdoors in adverse weather conditions.
