With the Shimoda Strap Booster Kit 520-252, you can fine-tune the fit of your backpack with precision. Particularly useful for taller and broader photographers who need a little more room in the backpack's harness.

Each kit comes with 3 extension straps that allow you to adjust and lengthen the fit of the upper and lower shoulder straps, as well as increase the diameter of the hip belt. Because Shimoda's shoulder straps and belts already feature built-in adjustments, the new kit offers even more room and fine-tuning for larger and taller photographers.

The Strap Booster Kit not only ensures photographers achieve a perfect fit for the torso and hip bone, but is also ideal for photographers who use Capture Clips and want to lower their mounting position.

The kit is designed for heavier and taller users (up to 204 cm).

Features of the Shimoda Strap Booster Kit 520-252

  • UPPER BOOSTER - The Upper Booster allows taller and broader users to position both the shoulder straps and backpack lower on a longer or wider torso. This positions the shoulder straps and backpack in a more natural position on the upper body. By placing the backpack lower on the back, the belt rests on the hip bone and weight is relieved from the shoulders. It also positions the shoulder straps lower, giving photographers using a Capture Clip more attachment options. The Booster offers a 10 cm extension, which can be further refined with the torso adjustments on the bag and the Lower Boosters
  • LOWER BOOSTER - Ideal for users with a longer and wider torso in combination with the Upper Booster. The Lower Booster increases the adjustability of the lower shoulder straps. This allows larger users to use a bag designed for a relatively smaller person and optimally benefit from the bag designs. A taller user can use a smaller torso bag and achieve good weight distribution. The strap offers an adjustment range of 20 cm
  • BELT BOOSTER - If you have a wider waist, the belt booster adds 20 cm extra diameter to the belt. This provides both comfort and good weight distribution and relief that backpack straps offer
