The Sigma 16-28mm f/2.8 DG DN Contemporary is a bright wide-angle zoom lens with exceptionally high optical quality. The lens is ideally suited for landscape, wedding and travel photographers who are looking for compact and light equipment, but do not want to compromise on image quality.

Enjoy corner-to-corner sharpness with internal distortion correction and minimal aberrations due to 5 FLD elements and 4 aspherical lens elements. The constant f/2.8 aperture and 9 rounded diaphragm blades result in a subtle depth of field with soft circular bokeh. The Super Multi-Layer Coating prevents ghosting and annoying lens flares, so you can shoot beautiful high-contrast images even with a lot of backlight. With the stepper motor of the Sigma lens, focusing is fast and virtually silent. The internal zoom mechanism also ensures that the lens does not lengthen during zooming so that the center of gravity and stability remain the same.
