Meet Sigma’s DG Contemporary series of prime lenses for mirrorless camera’s. Lenses in this line are characterised by their sturdy metal construction, ultra-fast and accurate Autofocus and fantastic optical performance. The lens has a magnetic lens cap and metal Lens hood and is dust- and splashproof.

Focal length

The fixed focal length of 65 mm provides a natural perspective view at a bit more distance. You get more in focus than at a distance of 85/90mm without losing the beautiful background blur. This is ideal for portraits where your subject is half or full frame, street photography with a focus on people, and also works well for product photography.

Aperture

This lens contains a maximum aperture of f/2. This means the lens is very bright, allowing you to shoot good, sharp images even in low-light situations. It also provides a small depth of field which in turn results in a nice, soft bokeh background. With such’s wide Aperture, you can isolate parts of your subject for impressive images. Useful for portraits, night photography and creative shots with lots of subject isolation.
