The Sigma WR Ceramic Protector is a protective filter from the top line of Sigma. Clear Glass Ceramic has been developed in collaboration with a glass manufacturer who has combined the latest developments and technologies from aviation and space travel with Sigma's many years of experience. The result is a series of filters that have no equal in durability and performance.

Clear Glass Ceramic is harder than chemically reinforced glass and offers more flexibility than regular sapphire crystal glass. Thanks to a special heat treatment, microcrystals in Clear Glass Ceramic are evenly distributed for a constant hardness of the glass. The glassware is therefore much more resistant to damage such as scratches or cracks. Clear Glass Ceramic is up to 10 times stronger than conventional protective filters and up to 3 times stronger than chemical glass of the same thickness. Thanks to a special water-repellent and anti-static coating, maintenance is a breeze. Water is repelled and stains such as fingerprints can be removed with one wipe.
