The Sigma WR Protector filter is a water-repellent protection filter for your lens. The diameter is 55mm, making it compatible with lenses that have a thread of the same filter size. The filter has no impact on image quality, but does keep dust, moisture, and other elements at bay. It also eliminates the risk of damage to the precious glass of your lens. The filter features multiple coatings to combat ghosting. An anti-static coating prevents the filter from building up a static charge, meaning dust is not attracted to it. The water-repellent (WR; Water Repellent) layer also ensures that both water and oil can be easily removed from the filter.
