The Sirui MS18 Macro rail is a precision linear moving rail equipped with a camera platform with a rotating Arca-type quick release kit. The rail has a capacity of 170 mm of travel, with each full rotation of the crank providing 1.25 mm of movement for precise camera positioning. The focus knob has a crank that conveniently folds flat. The rail has a hollowed-out design to reduce camera movement. weight, but still has a robust carrying capacity of 10 kg. The base of the rail features an Arca-type dovetail, making it easy to mount on compatible devices. The rail also has four removable feet with rubber tips for use on a tabletop.

The camera platform has a locking lever and an Arca-type quick-release clamp that can be quickly rotated into four positions in 90° increments. The supplied quick-release plate has traction pads to prevent movement between the plate and the camera body.
