SmallRig 4523 L-shaped mounting plate for Nikon Z 6III
The SmallRig 4523 L-shaped mounting plate for Nikon Z 6III is designed to allow a ??quick transition between landscape and portrait orientation, increasing both shooting versatility and camera grip. The three-point locking system ensures stability and prevents twisting by securing the camera with a 1/4"-20 screw at the base, a positioning block and the left shoulder strap ring, while integrated pads prevent scratching the camera.
The positioning block with built-in cold shoe mount provides support to stabilise the cage and prevent distortion after extending the side plate in portrait mode. It is also compatible with accessories with cold shoe mounts, such as microphones (SmallRig ID 3487), LED video lights (SmallRig ID 3286B), image transfer systems, torches, etc., providing a lightweight solution for photography or shooting.
The side plate can be extended by 22.5 mm for easy cable routing in portrait orientation. Integrated Arca-Swiss quick-release plate on the base supports Arca-type tripod (SmallRig ID 4353, 4060) or DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro / RS 4 / RS 4 Pro gimbals. The bottom features built-in 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes, allowing seamless compatibility with side handles (SmallRig ID 2093, 3847) for portable vertical shooting solutions, as well as the tripods (SmallRig ID 3989, 3751).
The bottom features a belt hole, compatible with wrist/shoulder straps (SmallRig ID 3848, 2456). A built-in QD interface supports shoulder straps (SmallRig ID 4118). In addition, the side panel features a 1/4"-20 placement hole for accessories such as mag arms (SmallRig ID 3875). The articulated arm near the battery compartment adapts to the curves of the camera and improves grip comfort. The plate has a built-in magnetic flat screwdriver at the bottom for easy disassembly and assembly.
